Unit for Multilingualism

The Unit for Multilingualism is a central unit for mother tongue instruction and study guidance in the mother tongue from a 6-19 year perspective in preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, secondary school, and adapted secondary school. The unit's mission includes coordinating and organizing activities in both municipal and independent schools.

Our administrative offices are located at Fyrisborgsgatan 1, while the educational activities take place in the municipality's schools.

Your Assignment

Your duties include teaching primary school students in the subject of mother tongue according to applicable governing documents. Providing study guidance in the mother tongue may also be part of the position. Instruction takes place in the municipality's schools.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree or another academic qualification that the employer considers equivalent. The work requires that you have Catalan as your native language and very good knowledge of Swedish. You also need to have good computer skills.

As a person, you are communicative and have an easy time listening and adapting your way of communicating. You are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work. The job suits you if you have a good pedagogical ability and understanding of people's different conditions for acquiring knowledge.
